DOUGLAS L. DRAYTON - Attorney Douglas L. Drayton, a partner in the Law Firm of Pomeranz, Drayton & Stabnick attended the University of Connecticut where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in l966 and received his Juris Doctor form the University of Connecticut School of Law in l969. Attorney Drayton is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association. He is a past member of the Medical-Legal Committee and currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He was Secretary of the Connecticut Bar Association Committee on Workers' Compensation that drafted appellate rules and regulations for the Connecticut Compensation Review Division. He was a founding member of the Committee for Workers’ Compensation Specialization and the original chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Certification Examining Committee. He resigned as Chairman but remains on the Examining Committee. Attorney Drayton has also been a faculty member of the Connecticut Bar Association Section on Continuing Legal Education. He is past Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and has been recognized since the 1995 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for his expertise in Workers Compensation since 2011.

JAMES L. POMERANZ - Attorney James L. Pomeranz is a partner in the law firm of Pomeranz, Drayton & Stabnick of Glastonbury, Connecticut, specializing in the area of workers' compensation law. MICHAEL J. MCAULIFFE - Attorney Michael J. McAuliffe is a 1983 graduate of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. earning a B.A. in Political Science. He graduated from Western New England College School of Law with a J.D. in 1986. Attorney McAuliffe was admitted to the State of Connecticut and United States District Court, District of Connecticut Bars in 1986. He became associated with Pomeranz, Drayton & Stabnick in 1992 and became a partner in 1997. Attorney McAuliffe appears regularly before the Workers’ Compensation Commission and has argued successfully before the Compensation Review Board on many occasions. He has also argued cases before both the State’s Supreme and Appellate Courts. HEATHER PORTO - Attorney Heather K. Porto is a graduate of Syracuse University where she received her B.A, Cum Laude. She received her J.D. from Quinnipiac College School of Law where she graduated with honors in 2000 and was admitted to practice that year in Connecticut and New York. She focuses her practice in Workers' Compensation handling all aspects of claims as well as Section 31-290a wrongful termination claims. She previously handled employer’s subrogation and civil defense claims as well. She is admitted to practice before the State and U.S. District courts. COURTNEY C. STABNICK - Attorney Courtney C. Stabnick is a graduate of Colby College (BA 1995) and Suffolk University School of Law, where she graduated in 1998. Before joining our firm as an associate in 2001, she clerked at the firm from June of 1995 to 1998. She practiced law in Massachusetts from 1998 to 2001, where she practiced in the areas of workers' compensation, premises liability, subrogation and dram shop litigation. ZACHARY M. DELANEY received a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from the University of Connecticut in 2009. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2012. GREGORY F. LISOWSKI received a B.S. in economics from Rutgers University in 1994 and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1997. BRIAN L. SMITH has been representing Connecticut employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation matters since 1991.
