DOUGLAS L. DRAYTON Attorney Douglas L. Drayton, a partner in the Law Firm of Pomeranz, Drayton & Stabnick attended the University of Connecticut where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1966 and received his Juris Doctor form the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1969.

Attorney Drayton is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association. He is a past member of the Medical-Legal Committee and currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He has lectured on Workers' Compensation Law for many institutions, law schools and organizations including various Bar Associations as well as testified at legislative committee hearings on Connecticut Workers' Compensation Law. He was Secretary of the Connecticut Bar Association Committee on Workers' Compensation that drafted appellate rules and regulations for the Connecticut Compensation Review Division. He was a founding member of the Committee for Workers' Compensation Specialization and the original chairman of the Workers' Compensation Certification Examining Committee. He resigned as Chairman this year but remains on the Examining Committee. Attorney Drayton has also been a faculty member of the Connecticut Bar Association Section on Continuing Legal Education. He is past Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and has been recognized since the 1995 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for his expertise in Workers Compensation since 2011.

JAMES L. POMERANZ Attorney James L. Pomeranz is a partner in the law firm of Pomeranz, Drayton & Stabnick of Glastonbury, Connecticut, specializing in the area of workers' compensation law. Attorney Pomeranz born in Hartford, Connecticut, is a graduate of Yale University (B.A. 1969) and Georgetown University (J.D. 1972), and was admitted to the Bar in 1972. He is also a member of NWCDN. He has practiced in the defense of workers' compensation claims for approximately 41 years and has also done appellate work in this field including appearances before the Supreme Court for Connecticut and the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals concerning Federal issues. He is authorized to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Attorney Pomeranz is a member of the Hartford County Bar Association. RICHARD T. STABNICK is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the University of Connecticut School of Law. He has been practicing for 30 years. Attorney Stabnick is an AV rated attorney in Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America®. He is presently in his 42nd year of practice in the defense of workers' compensation claims with prior experience in general law, including criminal defense, litigation and real estate. He has argued before the Appellate Court in several areas and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Connecticut and the Federal District Court. He also regularly lectures on behalf of Federal Associations on the subject of workers' compensation. He serves on the Workers' Compensation Legal Advisory Committee. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association. Attorney Stabnick has also been named by Hartford Magazine and Connecticut Magazine as one of the Top Lawyers in the area on Workers' Compensation Law.

MICHAEL J. MCAULIFFE is a graduate of George Washington University and Western New England College School of Law and has practiced law since 1986. He began his career in the general practice of law and then moved to a position in house with a major insurer where he handled both general liability and workers' compensation defense. He joined the firm in 1991. He has argued before the Appellate and Supreme Courts in Connecticut and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court in Connecticut. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.

She focuses her practice in Workers' Compensation and previously handled employers subrogation and civil defense. She is admitted to practice before the State and U.S. District courts. Before joining our firm as an associate in 2001, she clerked at the firm from June of 1995 to 1998. She practiced law in Massachusetts from 1998 to 2001. ZACHARY M. DELANEY received a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from the University of Connecticut in 2009. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2012. While an undergraduate, Attorney Delaney interned with Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd, and while earning his law degree, he interned for Judge Christopher Droney. Prior to joining us as an associate in 2012, he clerked with the firm. Attorney Delaney sits on the Board of Directors for the University of Connecticut's Alumni Association, Greater Hartford Chapter. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
